Into the Dark
Most people are asleep right now. I'm not. I rarely am.
Something about the dark hours just hits different. No notifications. No obligations. Just me, a terminal, and whatever I'm building that night. This blog exists because of those hours.
I'm Haseeb. I'm a cybersecurity grad student at NJIT by day and a builder of things nobody asked for by night. I run a homelab in my closet with 20+ containers, a 12-agent AI system that has its own personality and memory, and a search engine I wrote from scratch because the existing ones were too slow.
This blog is where I write about what I do. Not polished tutorials. Not thought leadership. Just the raw, unfiltered process of building, breaking, shipping, and occasionally sleeping.
What to expect:
- Security stuff. Hacking, CTFs, tool breakdowns, things I find while poking at systems.
- Building in public. Open-source projects, the decisions behind them, what worked and what didn't.
- The 3 AM thoughts. The stuff that only makes sense when the rest of the world is asleep and you're six hours into a coding session with no signs of stopping.
- Life. Anime, D&D, hacker meetups, grad school, figuring it out as I go.
No schedule. No algorithm. Just posts when something's worth writing about.
Welcome to 3 AM. It's dark in here, but that's where the good stuff happens.
